The Abbey of Novalesa
Founded in 726, it is located in the Cenischia Valley, not far from the City of Susa. The complex was acquired by the Province of Turin in 1972, renovated and entrusted to the Benedictine Monks.
Abbey of Staffarda
On July 25, 1135, some Cistercian monks began founding a new abbey on the land known as "la staffarda," in the territory of the former Marquisate of Saluzzo.
