Collegiate Church of San Secondo
In the heart of Asti, next to the Palazzo Civico, stands the medieval church that tradition says was built on the site where Secondo, a second-century Roman soldier, was martyred.

Castelvecchio. A Wonder to be Saved
To the side of the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, stands this important fortress, with an architectural style similar to the 14th- and 15th-century agricultural castles in the area. Today in a state of neglect.

The Cathedral of Saluzzo
Construction began in 1491 and was completed in 10 years. The spacious 3-aisle building is dominated by the regal 15th-century wooden crucifix hanging from the triumphal arch leading to the chancel.

Don't miss the streetcar
From the earliest animal-powered vehicles to modern high-powered electric motors, the streetcar has characterized urban landscapes. It's great to ride an old streetcar, restored and in service again.

Parish Church of St. John

Anchovy Museum - Alta Val Maira Ecomuseum
The exhibit tells the story of the itinerant trades of the Maira Valley and collects evidence and documentation of the Valley's anchovy makers. A thematic itinerary enriches the visit.

The Ciciu del Villar Reserve
The reserve since 1989 has protected the "ciciu 'd pera" (ciciu in Piedmontese means "puppet," and pear "stone"), also called "erosion columns," dating back to the end of the last ice age.

The Abbey of Novalesa
Founded in 726, it is located in the Cenischia Valley, not far from the City of Susa. The complex was acquired by the Province of Turin in 1972, renovated and entrusted to the Benedictine Monks.

The Palatine Gate
A vestige of Roman architecture dating back to the 1st century B.C., it is now included, along with the nearby theater, in the Archaeological Park inaugurated in 2006 for the Winter Olympics.

Mausoleum of the "Bela Rosin"
Dedicated to Rosa Vercellana, known to the people of Turin as "Bela Rosin," Vittorio Emanuele II's morganatic lover and wife, it was erected to enshrine her mortal remains. Today it is an exhibition space.

Preceptory of St. Anthony of Ranverso
The Abbey, located on the Via Francigena that crosses the Susa Valley connecting France, is a celebrated example of Gothic architecture. Here also ancient hospital that cured the "Fire of St. Anthony."

Sacra di San Michele
An ancient abbey dating back to 983, it dominates the Susa Valley, a historic route to France. Dedicated to the Archangel St. Michael, it is part of the Via Micaelica, over 2,000 km long.

The Giara, the thrill of discovering a unique plateau!
"Sa Jara Manna" is called the most precious Mediterranean altar: it holds an incredible archaeological, landscape and animal and plant biodiversity heritage. Known for wild horses.

The Old Civic Tower of Saluzzo
Built in 1462, it towers over the ancient medieval town of Saluzzo, next to the Church of San Giovanni. It is 48 meters high: if you feel like climbing the 130 steps, you can enjoy a wide panorama.

Abbey of Staffarda
On July 25, 1135, some Cistercian monks began founding a new abbey on the land known as "la staffarda," in the territory of the former Marquisate of Saluzzo.

Church of St. John
Monumental complex consisting of the Church, cloister and Convent, the construction of which was begun in 1281. Set in the ancient medieval village, it stands in the upper town of Saluzzo.
