An appointment, at the end of July, that habitually brings thousands of people to the small town, even from outside Molise, and fills the air with the characteristic scent of black truffles strictly from Molise and used fresh on the dishes served.
The town's squares are transformed into open-air restaurants, recalled Pro loco 'Ricircolo mirandese' president Simone Marucci, who has been organizing the Tartufata for three years, ensuring 900 seats and a gluten-free menu with several courses: risotto, egg, veal carpaccio, burrata straccetti and julienne vegetables, all with freshly grated truffles.
