What is SharryLand
We created the Map of the Wonders of Rural Italy to give voice to the immense diffuse natural and cultural heritage and to give development tools and strategies to local communities through the short supply chain. The SharryLand platform is the cultural and digital ecosystem that networks rural and inland areas and gives an answer to fragmentation, depopulation and community needs.

Our core values
We value the land as a common good, strengthen local identities and sense of community.
We support regeneration and economic and social growth.
We develop rural tourism that is aware of and in touch with local communities.
We foster generational exchange, restance, and inclusion.
We systematize through a shared digital and cultural platform with free access.
How we network rural Italy.

People and content
We are the network of communities that want to tell their identity: local wonders, traditions, knowledge, typicality. And everyone can participate in this great collective narrative!
The added value lies in the curation. A team of people-not algorithms-validates, organizes and refines each content according to international quality standards so that rural Italy can finally make its true voice heard.
Shared tools
We provide municipalities and local networks with a shared digital platform that is inclusive and free to access. A space where cultural heritage and communities can finally find a voice.
We nurture a "glocal"ecosystem that connects rural areas with each other and places them in a national network. We foster the short supply chain with the "Buy Local" marketplace, we broadcast on multiple channels and in multiple languages, and, most importantly, we free territories from the burden of complex and expensive technological investments.
"Glocal" projects
Technology is a tool at the service of local resilience and restanza projects. We work side-by-side with territories, building geographical and thematic networks in which rural tourism is not the end but becomes the means to improve the quality of life.
Each project begins from the bottom and grows through tailor-made solutions, developed together with those who live and know their territory deeply, respecting its identity. With a long view: generating value, continuity and future.
The name SharryLand
SHARE is sharing. At SharryLand we share the beauty and flavors of the land, the values of tradition and art, the experiences and knowledge of people.
+ CHERRY are the Cherries, our symbol. Good experiences are like cherries: one pulls the other. Like cherries, they are many, cheerful and appetizing, to be enjoyed in company.
+ LAND are the territories, the "cherry basket," the places of wonder and experience. They are the widespread cultural heritage, out of the usual circuits, they are encounters with local people, they are food history art nature tradition...

We are a Benefit Society
SharryLand srl is an innovative SME established in Cittadella (PD) on November 14, 2017 from an idea of Luigi Alberton shared with Maria Cristina Leardini and Paolo Bernardini. On May 27, 2020, for our purposes, we became a Benefit Corporation, expressing in our bylaws our commitment to have a positive impact on the social and economic well-being of the communities and territories in which we operate. Our activities respond to the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda (specifically 11, 8, 17). Many small investors and the Giordano Dell'Amore Social Venture Foundation of the Cariplo Foundation (impact investing) believe in the project.

The SharryLand Principle
"Every action of mine makes sense if, and only if, it is good for everyone. " Our challenge is to create a powerful driver for open and collaborative land development that gives everyone opportunities and value.

The relationship and bridges
A meets B.
What happens? A tells about himself, what he has done, the successes he has achieved. B...as well.
Let's take a closer look. Actually, there is no "meeting" going on. Each is doing self-promotion. It is not seeking a relationship with the other, a possible ground to walk together, joining forces and skills and intelligences. Each is convinced that it is enough for itself. That he does not need any bridge. At most they lack a sponsor.
Beware! Now B is asking questions. Whether this is an opening to the relationship? Let's look closer. Actually, B is asking about procedures, not experience: he is interested in the mechanics of things, not the dynamics. The how, not the why. Behind the questions, there is a potential personal gain, the idea that by applying the same procedure, B will also get the same result, indeed a better result. Regardless of thought, research, path.
No bridge has been created. To create a bridge, A and B, the two sides, should recognize each other in their mutual diversity, grasp that there is a gap to be bridged, not only between A and B, but also in A, even in B. If the two shores believe themselves to be equal, what is the point of building a bridge? A and B should have the humility to recognize not only their own talents, but also their own limitations; they should awaken the curiosity of wanting to know and understand, the pleasure of putting themselves on the line. At the social level, something is happening, spotty, with the uneasy trend derived from dishabituation: petitions, spontaneous movements, indignados, transition, sometimes real revolutions. One begins to recognize a basic principle: that every action of mine has meaning, has value, has a chance to grow, if and only if it is good for all.
I mean, for all of creation.
