Festival of the press in Faggeto Lario

The press is located in the municipality of Faggeto Lario in the characteristic hamlet of Palanzo, and is preserved inside an old stone rustic house owned by the municipality. Due to its exceptional characteristics and good state of preservation, the press has been declared a national monument. It is currently used only for demonstration purposes during the annual Festa del Torchio where, throughout the day, there will be music, entertainment, stalls, tasting of local products, display of ancient crafts and sale of handicrafts. There will be no shortage of polenta, tripe, sausage sandwiches, cakes, chestnuts and the legendary tortelli.
