NatureAdventure 4x4 at Alpe Megna

Proposed hike with hands-on nature activities and environmental education aimed at families with children ages 8-11. Once they reach Megna Alp, children will engage in 4 different types of hands-on nature activities in botany, zoology, entomology and geology to learn about plants, animals, insects and rocks. The activities are aimed at learning about and appreciating these aspects of nature, including milking and making a dairy product, and the children will get to keep what they have made. For each activity done, children will receive a small badge that will be placed on a naturalist's badge that can be completed in future activities offered by Nature Emotion. For lunch there will be a tasting of typical products from the Alpe di Megna farm (cold cuts, cheese, a glass of wine or beer and water). After the afternoon activities you will return to the starting point.
