The Prince's Palio

A historical re-enactment with a twist.The Costume Pageant, recalls the splendors of the Sanseverino family and its principality, The Palio, with the participation of the eight districts of Bisignano, re-enacts the Medieval Joust on Horseback, where the knights will have to with much lance retrieve the rings.The evening before the Pageant, the districts will compete in the Palio delle Serenate, singing songs, under the flowered balconies of the beloved, evoking the courtship of yesteryear.
