Horse and Twinning Festival in Ace

The 39th edition of the Horse Festival, organized by the Municipal Administration, under the patronage of the Lombardy Region, the Province of Como and the Comunità Montana Triangolo Lariano, in collaboration with the Pro Loco and the Associations of Asso, will be held in Market Square in Asso, with the exhibition of Haflinger horses, saddle farm horses, foals and stallions, and parade of the subjects that will be evaluated and awarded prizes. There will also be an exhibition of paintings by the "Tell Me You Can Scream" Association, stalls with typical food products, handicrafts and agricultural equipment. Typical local dishes will be served starting in the morning. At 9 p.m. in the Prepositurale San Giovanni Battista Church, the "Trio con l'arco" will perform pieces by Corelli, Bach, Vivaldi. The morning of Oct. 2 will be dedicated to French, Portuguese and German guests to celebrate twinning and friendship between European peoples.
