Pantano della Zittola - Montenero Valcocchiara
Located at about 820m above sea level, the Pantano is an extensive marshy plain surrounded by a natural amphitheater of forests. An Apennine peat bog characterized by very rare vegetation and fauna.

The village of Scapoli and the Bagpipe Museum
Scapoli is the "Capital of the Bagpipe," one of the few towns in Italy where, along with the presence of skilled craftsmen, the ancient art of making this folk instrument survives.

Pandone Castle of Venafro
A site of art and history that houses the National Museum of Molise, which collects Molise's artistic evidence inside a charming castle overlooking the historic village.

Unesco MAB Reserve of Collemeluccio - Montedimezzo
An important area for biodiversity conservation that includes 7 municipalities in Molise. An ideal place to educate the younger generation about respect for nature and sustainability.

Pignatelli Castle - Monteroduni
A fortress set among fields of olive trees and vineyards overlooking the village of Monteroduni. Transformed several times over time, the castle became the residential home of the Pignatelli family.

Hermitage of St. Michael the Archangel
Set among the rocks of Mount St. Michael, the Hermitage was founded by Benedictine abbots around 1027. It can only be reached via a trail in the National Park area.

Fraternal Fountain
The Fraterna fountain is the city's symbolic public fountain. It formerly stood in Fraterna Square, but after the 1943 bombing it was moved to Celestine V Square, the heart of the historic center.

Theater and Italic temple of Pietrabbondante
A sacred area that, because of its architectural features and monumentality, is the most important archaeological evidence of the culture of the Italic Samnites Pentri people.

Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows in Castelpetroso
