Offering Experiences, Products, Services

Same-day experiences

What kind of Experiences can I publish?

You can publish Day Experiences or (if you hold the required qualifications) multi‑day travel packages: excursions, bike tours, tastings, guided tours, workshops, and other cultural or artistic activities. SharryLand’s goal is to give voice and value to your territory through sustainable, experiential tourism in close contact with local communities. Choose the experiences that reflect these aims.

Who can propose a day trip?

All small operators from Italy’s rural areas who are legally qualified: guides, associations, tour leaders, etc.
Important: a one‑day experience that combines two or more tourist services (e.g., excursion plus overnight stay) is considered a travel package and must, by law, be managed by a Tour Operator (see Legislative Decree of 21 May 2018, No. 62, concerning tourist packages and linked travel services).

Who can offer a multi-day tourist package?

Only those who are legally qualified to do so: Tour Operators or Travel Agencies, as established by Legislative Decree of 21 May 2018, No. 62, concerning tourist packages and linked travel services.

If the Experiences form is not suitable for your proposal, contact the Editorial Team to evaluate other possible solutions.

How do I create a Same-Day Experience?

After registering as a professional and activating your Stripe account to manage transactions, go to “Manage your business” / “Manage sales and bookings”. Here you will find the “Add offer” button. Follow the instructions and submit the experience for review by the SharryLand Editorial Team.

How do I enter dates and times for my Experiences?

When creating your experience, go to the Dates, times, variants section. Follow these steps:

  • Select the age groups allowed to participate in your experience and choose whether you want to vary the price by age group.
  • From the dropdown menu, select the Date option, browse the calendar, and choose the date. You must enter one date at a time.
  • Click Save.

You can add the times of your experience in the same way by selecting “Time” from the dropdown menu. Dates and times will automatically combine, and for each date you can still adjust the price as you wish or exclude one or more age groups.

Can I insert custom conditions for my experience?

After clicking “Insert Offer” and filling in the required fields, you will see the Dates, times, variants section. To add customized conditions for your experience, follow these steps:

  • From the dropdown menu, select the Customization option and write in the text field. Example: lunch included. Click Save.
  • Repeat the same steps to add a second customization. Example: lunch not included. Click Save.

Once saved, you will see your combinations and you will be able to adjust prices for each individual date you entered, or based on the selected customization.

Can I change the prices of my Experience at any time?

Yes. After publication some conditions of the experience are always modifiable: duration, minimum age, price, price ranges by age, participation conditions (with pets or for people with reduced mobility). However, it is good practice not to frequently change the conditions offered.

If there are public dates or reservations in place, these will not be affected by the changes to ensure that what was established with the client in the past is preserved. To change the above conditions click on Edit in the menu with three dots to the right of the experience.

Can I apply promotions to my experience?

Yes. Enter "Edit" in the three-dotted menu of the experience and go to the Promotions section, where you will find:

  • Early Bird: a promotion for those who purchase well in advance. Enter the number of days before the experience date and the amount of discount (e.g., for those who book up to 15 days in advance, a 10% discount applies).
  • Last Minute a promotion for those who book at the last minute. It indicates the number of days before the date of the experience and the amount of the discount (e.g., for those who book up to 3 days in advance, a 30% discount applies).
  • LastAvailability: a promotion for the last available seats. It indicates the amount of seats and the amount of the discount (e.g., for the last 2 seats available in the group, there is a 50% discount).
  • Promo: a promotion to highlight from your experience, unrelated to the date (e.g., the experience is 20% off for anyone who books, regardless of the date).

I want to propose a trekking or cycling route, where do I enter the technical data?

You can enter route information in the "What we are going to do" field. At a minimum, indicate the starting point, ending point, length, and duration; you can also enter complete elevation data and estimated difficulty. You can describe significant stops along the route, if any. Based on the information you provide, the editorial staff can create a map of the route.

Can I publish a free experience?

Certainly. When creating the experience, you will simply choose "No" in the Paying. At that point you can choose different types of free: free, freewill, or responsibly contributed. After publishing, if you wish, you can edit this field and set a price for your experience.
