MercAntico San Lorenzello

The historic center of San Lorenzello, in the province of Benevento has been hosting since 1991 the "MercAntico," the traditional fair of antiques,local products and handicrafts. The MercAntico, antiques fair takes place mainly inside the ancient and characteristic craft stores located along Via Roma and Via Sorripe, where exhibitors of furniture, artistic ceramics, antiques and typical local products offer visitors the pleasure of admiring the tangible symbols of a past that is also very remote. Rounding out the traditional event is also a rich display of typical and fine Laurentine artistic ceramics, the work of talented local artisans who have contributed greatly to promoting the image of San Lorenzello even beyond the borders of Italy. Visitors to the MercAntico are offered free tours of artistic sites, famous ceramic workshops and places of special scenic and cultural interest
