What we are going to do

In the hills above Dasà, you will visit a local farmer to learn the art of Italian cheese making. First, you will have the opportunity to milk the goats (optional, of course!) before making traditional Calabrian cheeses, such as caciocavallo and fresh ricotta. There is no sophisticated machinery here! Dasà cheese is still made by hand and cooked over the fire.

A lunch of artisanal products from the farm will follow. If you have never tasted fresh, warm goat ricotta served on crusty bread
