Theater at Home

Many municipalities in the province of Vicenza are participating in this wonderful initiative: in the summer, theater moves beyond its usual venues and becomes more intimate and cozy, taking place in the homes, gardens, and courtyards of private citizens who, for one evening, open their doors to anyone who wants to come and watch the show. It feels like stepping back a few centuries, to a time when people would gather at a neighbor’s house to tell stories and sing. The performances are free, but attendance is limited to 100 people, so it’s a good idea to reserve your spot online.
