Montecretese Potato Festival

An annual festival where the local community offers visitors a chance to sample various potato dishes made from 0-mile grown potatoes. Four hundred volunteers, including a team of highly organized cooks, get to work preparing and serving hundreds of gnocchi and other local recipes such as potato bread and mashed potatoes with Ossola-style braised beef. You can also buy local potatoes directly from the producers. Every evening, good food is accompanied by dancing, concerts and DJ sets.
