Chioggia Fish Festival

Every year during the summer, the city's main street is transformed into an open-air restaurant. Among moments of celebration, music and entertainment, the best fresh catch is savored, cooked differently according to local culinary traditions. On the plate you cannot miss "sarde in saòr," "peoci in cassopipa," "moeche" and fried "masanete." This is an important event for the Chioggio community and for the many visitors who come here from all over the Veneto region.
