Festival of the Violet Artichoke of Niscemi

Beautiful Niscemi is the location for this interesting festival to enhance a typical Sicilian product: the violet artichoke. At the gates of each spring, the center comes alive with sounds, colors and lots of local gastronomy with the community at the forefront of the success of this 40-year-old festival. Niscemi and its territory are renowned for the production of this excellence, thanks to its producers and companies located in the territory of the Plain of Gela, capable of producing more than half of the Sicilian and Italian production.
