Regatta "The Sails of San Ruffino"
The lake, the Sibillini Mountains, nature, art and good food
On the first weekend in May (or the last weekend in April) 2009 San Ruffino Lake comes alive each year with sails and nimble boats. A competition that welcomes professionals and amateurs alike, because the sport is a feast for all! On the shores of the lake: nature walks, stands with local zero-mile delicacies, guided tours of nearby villages and more. Five municipalities come together in the challenge on the water: Monte San Martino, Santa Vittoria in Matenano, Montefalcone Appennino, Amandola and Smerillo.
