Palio del Batar Panoce in Trevignano

A big festival awaits you in Trevignano, a small town in the province of Treviso, with the Palio delle Borgate. Each village district fields its own team, organized like a real farming family and dressed in traditional attire. The goal is to shell as many corn cobs as possible and fill sacks with the kernels within a set time limit. There are also other versions of the event: the Palio Femminile, the Palio Comunale, and the Super Palio—a competition between the reigning champions of the Palio delle Borgate and the Palio Comunale. Before the competition between the neighborhoods, there’s also a lively historical parade, and throughout the evening of the event, there will be food stands and musical performances.
