What do science and technology have in common with a small town in the Serre Calabresi? If you’re thinking “nothing,” it’s only because you haven’t heard of NanoGagliato yet! Every year in July, Italian and international scientists and scholars gather here, nestled between the mountains and the sea of Calabria, to share knowledge, conduct experiments, and exchange ideas—but above all, to demonstrate that great ideas can emerge anywhere, whether in big cities or in small villages in the countryside. The events are open to everyone and involve adults as well as young people and children, because it’s never too early to discover a passion!
