Merdules bezzos de Ottana
The archaic tradition of an undiscovered territory
A historical parade is traditionally held along the entire Via Orientale Sarda in the territory of Baunei. The Merdules bezzos de Ottana are traditional masks: a tradition carried on by the local Ottana association that highlights this tale, considered to derive from the tradition of the "cult of the ox," a bull that man has managed to train.
