The Lake Como Crossing

Celebrate the one hundred and twenty-first anniversary of the foundation of Canottieri Moltrasio by taking part in this historic non-competitive event: the Traversata del Lago di Como, from Torno to Moltrasio! Registration opens on 6 July at 21:45. Those registered will meet on 24 July at 18:00 at the Canottieri headquarters to validate their registration. Once registration has been validated, at 19:00 we embark on a dedicated boat that will take us to Torno. At 20:00, the swimming start: 1,000 metres of lake to tackle to return to the Moltrasio shore! The entire route is followed by rescue operators: canoes, rubber dinghies and divers in the water. At any time, just raise your hand for support. Each participant is given an inflatable safety buoy to wear for the duration of the route. Participants are given complete freedom in their equipment: you can use a wetsuit, fins, or even a board or mat. On the way back, the Canottieri changing rooms are available for changing and taking a shower. For those who wish to continue the evening in company, a dinner awaits in Piazza San Rocco, with a menu at a special price for event participants.
