The epic event par excellence. In the heart of the city, the competition field, Piazza Maggiore, surrounded by beautiful palaces has always been the site of the " Joust." Boroughs and Sestieri of the historic center competing for the coveted prize. Sulmona for two whole days returns to its shining past made up of Dames and Knights, nobles and aristocrats but also skilled farriers and artisans.
A well-attended historical re-enactment, a wonderful parade in Renaissance costumes, acrobats, flag-wavers, drummers, jugglers and much more will take turns to make the days dedicated to the event unforgettable.
