Irpinia Mood

The Food Festival conceived by Visit Irpinia is an event that celebrates food culture in the round. During the days of the Festival, Avellino is populated by chefs and food and wine experts, united by the common intent of paying tribute to the products and recipes of Irpinia and Campania. The event is held in the monumental complex of the former Bourbon Prison in Avellino and consists of a program of conferences on topics closely related to food and wine, a rich array of show cooking involving more than 40 chefs and pastry chefs, and a musical program that enlivens the evenings of the Festival.
