Settembrini Celebrations and the Palio of Fagagna.

In Fagagna, September means celebration! For about ten days, a rich program of events features food stalls, music, tastings entertainment and conviviality. There are two highlights of the festival: the historic Donkey Race and the Palio dei borghi. Competing are the four boroughs of Fagagna: Centro, Palûd, Pic and Riul, which in the arena defend the colors that distinguish them, red for Centro, blue for Paludo, yellow for Pic and white for Riul. What enriches the asinine challenge is the parade of floats, on the town square, which have as their main theme a subject related to local life and historical, traditional events of the place. Over time, the parade of floats has become a real theatrical performance, the boroughs in fact undertake each year to write a script, make the costumes and sets, reconcile text and music, and have dialogue and soundtrack recorded to be brought to the square in front of the large audience.
