White Kitchen Festival

An evening during which the village of Mendatica, as has been the tradition for several years now, hosts, among farmyards and caruggi, a gastronomic itinerary to discover the typical transhumance pastures. An event to enhance the "white cuisine," a gastronomic expression of a wide area of the Ligurian Alps that unites the Arroscia, Argentina, Nervia and Tanaro valleys. A white cuisine in name and in fact: farinaceous products, dairy products, potatoes, leeks, garlic, turnips and the wild products gathered while walking on the transhumance paths.
