U Tamburru

One of the oldest traditions in the province of Catanzaro, an event heartfelt by locals who, during Holy Week, re-enact old processions handed down from generation to generation. "U Tamburru" is a nighttime reenactment that culminates with the arrival in the central Piazza del SS. Rosario of the Roman soldiers and the traditional parade of the procession until midnight. An evocative event made even more real by the atmosphere in the village.
