Who is U Lup Cumunal
He is the werewolf! There has, from time immemorial, been a terrible curse on the child who dares to be born at midnight on Christmas night. When he grows up, on full moon nights he will turn into a monstrous being, half man and half wolf, and roam the village streets and woods, alone and hungry.
What U Lup Cumunal looks like
When a man turns into a wolf, his skin becomes covered with shaggy fur, his ears become pointed, his eyes yellow, his teeth sharp and his nails, deadly claws.
Places to avoid
If you are in Rapone, do not go alone on full moon nights to the Calvary: it is the crossroads at the entrance to the town, and it is there, the old men of the town tell us, that U Lup Cumunal often prowls in search of prey. There is also another favorite place of the Lup: it is Miezz Col, just outside the village: "u Munnezzar" communal where people once threw ashes and other garbage.
Advice and remedies
Aunt Lucia is an old woman in the village: she has seen a lot and knows how things are in the world. She is the one who tells us what to do.
