The Basilian Way®, step 52
Basilian monks (followers of the rule of St. Basil the Great) are a cornerstone of the millenary culture of Calabria, and the Basilian Way® aims to ideally retrace their footsteps in more than 1,500 km of trails, from Lauria in Basilicata, along the entire Ionian hinterland of Calabria and all the way to Reggio Calabria, crossing the Pollino, Sila, Serre and Aspromonte . A meeting between East and West, an encounter with the nature and biodiversity of Calabria, a sustainable way of experiencing Calabria. We tell you about Stage 52 of the Basilian Way®: just 10-11 kilometers but, as always, a thousand opportunities to digress.
