But how much gentleness there is in the soft curves of the Apennines... we are in Casteldelci, a scattered municipality in the province of Rimini, in the Marecchia Valley, made up of several hamlets and immersed in welcoming nature, to be explored without haste.
Why it is special: the ancient castle tower and the green sea of hills
In this green sea, the feelings that prevail are of pure serenity and joy of discovery, but once upon a time Casteldelci too, as a good medieval village, had to defend itself from invading peoples and neighbors thirsty for conquest. For this reason, there was also a castle here, of which only the memory remains today and one of the 4 ancient towers, which over the centuries has been transformed into the town's civic tower.
