Imagine walking through Myth, among villages suspended in time and golden beaches where history has left indelible traces. This itinerary ii will take you to the province of Reggio Calabria, to discover Locride and the Strait Area, a unique territory where pre-Hellenic remains, Greek temples, Roman villas and Byzantine spirituality coexist. A conscious journey for those who are not satisfied with the Riace Bronzes and want to be surprised by a land that was a protagonist of Magna Graecia.
The route in brief between East and West
We will start from the spiritual peaks of Stilo and descend along the Ionian coast, passing through millenary villages and ancient vestiges, until we reach the heart of the Mediterranean in Reggio Calabria. This itinerary will touch 10 municipalities, 10 protagonists of a journey that celebrates the meeting of cultures from East to West.
