Bike Gal Flaminia Cesano

17 villages inthe province of Pesaro and Urbino in a unique landscape: there is no better way than to discover them slowly, riding a bicycle. If on foot you cover only relative distances and in a car you miss the details, on a bike you can really savor the area by discovering glimpses of extraordinary beauty.

We, as a Local Action Group (LAG), set ourselves precisely this goal: to offer bicycle tourists (and others) everything they need to enjoy our beauty: equipped facilities, experiences and itineraries designed for them, with the hospitality that is never lacking in our lands.

In this way we want to concretely support our territory and counter the social and economic crisis by focusing on slow and responsible tourism, biodiversity and the quality of our food and wine products, and the enhancement of social agriculture: let's make our roots our strength.

4 bike routes

The ones we are telling you about are bike routes in the planning stage: they are part of the proposed bike networks of the Local Integrated Plans (PILs), linked to the LAG Flaminia Cesano's LEADER funds programming. You won't find the tabulation of the routes yet - we count on them being implemented really soon - but you can still start planning your bike rides in our parts. We are waiting for you!

Itinerary 1 - Hills and Villages of the Duke. Pedaling through villages and hills to discover ancient traditions, passing through Barchi, Orciano di Pesaro, Piagge and San Giorgio di Pesaro (today Terre Roveresche) and Sant'Ippolito.

Itinerary 2 - The Villages of Valcesano. Cycling through villages in the Cesano valley: San Costanzo, Tre Castelli (Ripe, Castel Colonna, Monterado), Monte Porzio, Mondavio, Corinaldo, San Lorenzo in Campo (San Vito and Montalfoglio), Fratte Rosa (Convento and Torre San Marco).

Itinerary 3 - At the foot of Mount Catria. Nature and villages between Metauro and Cesano, to be discovered by bicycle, passing through Pergola, Serra Sant'Abbondio, Fonte Avellana, Frontone, Furlo Nature Reserve, Fossombrone.

Itinerary 4 - The Marche of the Ancient Consular Way. History, art and science within pedal reach, passing through Montefelcino, Monteciccardo, Mombaroccio, Saltara and Serrungarina.
