A trip that will take you to discover Lake Garda. A visit to Sirmione is undoubtedly one of the most popular and favorite experiences for tourists, as the town is located on a thin, 4-kilometer-long peninsula. There are many sights to see and discover during the walk, including the Rocca Scaligera, the parish church of Santa Maria Maggiore, the remains of the Medieval city walls, the harbor, the Baths of Catullus, the Villa of Maria Callas, the Pieve di San Pietro in Mavino, or the Grotte di Catullo (a Roman villa from the 1st century AD).

At the end of the visit, we will move to the area of the Mantova Morainic Hills, an area of Lake Garda characterized by a gentle terrain and mild climate, where a strong agricultural connotation based on citrus fruits, olives and vines persists. Here, in a winery surrounded by vineyards, we will taste excellent wines such as Lugana and, during lunch, other excellent products (bread with salami, cheese, olive oil and a typical dessert).

We continue the day discovering two small treasures where time seems to have stopped in the Middle Ages: Castellaro Lagusello and Borghetto di Valeggio sul Mincio.

Castellaro Lagusello looks like a crib-like hamlet, set among the gentle moraine heights. Protected by a boundary wall, it internally preserves 97 small houses that take the mind back in time. Suggestive is the heart-shaped lake overlooked by the small village. Not far away is Borghetto di Valeggio sul Mincio. The village has a very special charm precisely because it is crossed by the Mincio River, which, flowing under a huge medieval bridge unique in the world, bathes it, crosses it, and keeps it alive.
