Inside Ferrara's Casa Romei museum, teatrOrtaet stages an animated tour dedicated to Lucrezia Borgia. Daughter of Pope Alexander VI, a chatty woman, victim of complex political games, she arrives in Ferrara for her third marriage to Alfonso I d'Este.

The myth of a woman who conquers her subjects despite a reputation put to the test by a difficult past, at a time when women are used as pawns in the complex chessboard of politics. The tale - of love, intrigue and poison, but also of how ducal patronage made Ferrara a melting pot of literary and cultural ferment - takes shape through the appearance of costumed characters during the "animated tour."
