Cycling along the Waterways

On the occasion of the Italian Environmental and Bicycle Federation's (FIAB) week dedicated to bicycle routes along waterways, we offer a route along the Tiber from Orte to Poggio Mirteto. This stretch along the river is also the sixth stage of the future Regina Ciclovia Tiberina, a journey from the sources to the sea along the Tiber. Departure is planned from Orte for a total distance of 54 km. An intermediate departure from Borghetto is possible with a reduced route of 34 km. The experience is also suitable for trained minors, particularly with departure from Borghetto.
