Associazione SportivitySeeker of Wonders
A visit to the town of Altamura, the city built by Frederick II. The medieval town preserves intact districts, cloisters, gnostre, ancient wood-fired ovens where the famous Altamura dop bread and delicious focaccia are still made; we will see the majestic cathedral with its two bell towers and the diocesan museum. In Altamura you can also visit the reconstruction of Altamura man (the skeleton found in a cave is scientifically the oldest human find in Europe) as well as thousands of dinosaur footprints in a quarry.
