Cherry Festival

This now historic event was born in 1976 from the idea of a few friends, which later became the Cherry Festival Committee, who decided to celebrate with a festival on the last Sunday in May the delicious fruit cultivated in the area since the early 1900s in a flat area called Antaneta, an area with an agricultural vocation located between the town of Pietracuta and the Marecchia River closed on one side by the Mazzocco River and on the other by the narrow Grandone River.
