Pomaria

Every year in October in Non Valley - an engaging harvest festival is celebrated: Pomaria. The event is a perfect opportunity to celebrate the apple, a gastronomic product of excellence in the area. The term "Pomaria" derives from the name of Pomona, patron goddess of orchards; conceived with the intent to evoke the strong and ancient bond that the people of the Valley have with their land and culture. Activities related to the world of apples, such as harvesting directly from the tree, are offered, as well as educational and gastronomic workshops-for example, one dedicated to the preparation of strudel-and delicious tasting tours. To complete the festive atmosphere, musical performances, guided excursions and re-enactments of ancient crafts are also organized to discover the wonderful history and culture of Non Valley.
