Contemporary Art Route at the Salt Gallery

Cagliari's Salt Gallery renews its commitment to contemporary art with a new series of artistic interventions. April will see the opening of Ericailcane's new work "Animals that Speak and Walls that Tell," an artistic experience that promises to be a provocative and revealing journey. This new masterpiece adds to his celebrated urban bestiary, where humanized animals are not just fairy tale characters, but true mirrors of humanity. With this new work, Ericailcane invites us to once again plumb the depths of human nature, addressing issues of social, political, economic and environmental significance. During the same dates, the project's curator, Daniele Gregorini, will be engaged in the creation of his second mural for the Galleria del Sale, a work that is closely integrated with its surroundings and landscape. These two interventions will further enrich the already illustrious collection of urban art at the Galleria del Sale in Cagliari. Launched in 2014, the Galleria's project aims to enhance the bicycle and pedestrian path that connects the Molentargius nature park with the Su Siccu waterfront, transforming it into an art trail thanks to the contribution of local and international street artists. The project is curated by the Urban Center Association and supported by the City of Cagliari.
