The small Orthodox church “I Panaghia ti Grecia” (Our Lady of the Greeks) will be the center of religious celebrations for several days: the Great Vespers, the procession of the Holy Icon through the streets of Gallicianò, the Divine Liturgy, and the Veneration of the Holy Icon. On Saturday, a large outdoor festival will welcome everyone with local delicacies, wine, and traditional music. Visitors will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Grecanico village to learn about its millennia-old history.
