Agnino's Pattona Festival

In Agnino, a hamlet in the municipality of Fivizzano, a festival is held each year during the last two weekends of August dedicated to Pattona, a traditional sweet dough made from chestnut flour and water, wrapped in chestnut leaves and later baked in a wood-fired oven. During the event, in addition to being able to taste the delicious Pattona, one can also witness the different stages of its preparation, shown directly by the "pattonari."
