La Gran Festa del Desmontegar

Every year in the hamlets of the valley floor in San Martino di Castrozza, a wonderful tradition is renewed to mark the return of cattle to the valley. The festival celebrates in particular the "white gold" of the Dolomites with numerous side activities featuring milk and herds such as some farm experiences, tastings of cheeses with the unmistakable aromas and flavors of the area, and even a traditional cattle show. In addition, immersive experiences dedicated to Primiero's dairy chain, workshops also aimed at children and traditional music concerts are also organized.
