Among the oldest events dedicated to the grape harvest, Borgomanero's "Grape Festival" is held every year during the first two weekends of September. Numerous traditional events take place during the event, such as the "Parade of Allegorical and Vendemmial Carts" followed by a masked parade, the "Tapulonata" - during which "tapulon," a typical dish of the town, can be tasted - and also an exciting "Palio degli Asini," in which the town districts compete.
