The Feast of the Most Holy Savior and the Cunfrunta

Pazzano in August gathers to celebrate the Most Holy Savior in three days marked by many celebrations, a procession and a special rite involving the Holy Family. The various moments of the feast embrace different phases of the day: from the more intimate celebrations at dawn, characterized by songs and prayers, to the more physically demanding ones, such as the procession of the Savior's statue and the excited Cunfrunta, during the day.What is the Cunfrunta? The most awaited moment, when the Savior is about to return to the church after the procession through the pese: here his parents, the statues of Mary and Joseph, are waiting for him, with so much love that they cannot resist, and they run to meet him.
