The Palio of Santa Giustina

In Bellusco, the Palio di Santa Giustina is held every year-the second weekend of September; a festival dating back to 1955 and created to pay homage to the saint, whose relics are kept in the parish church. This spectacular event features the "Floral Biblical Chariots," which are crafted with great skill and creativity by the town's districts. These are colorful scenic displays that are brought to life by costumed figures and then parade accompanied by a procession of ladies and knights through the streets of Bellusco.
