I Suoni delle Dolomiti, Sounds of the Dolomites

🏔️ I Suoni delle Dolomiti is a festival of music in nature: the concerts take place high up in the Dolomites of Trentino, among rocks and pastures, peaks and mountain lakes. The festival seeks to bring together art and nature in a respectful way, with the aim of raising awareness among a wider audience of everything the mountains can express in their own right.

🎼 The programme brings together concerts spanning different musical genres, from classical music to jazz and world music, as well as singer-songwriters and occasional ventures into pop. Thanks to some special projects, the festival has also brought readings, theatre and even opera to high altitude.

🌞 Most concerts take place at 12 noon, while one special event is held at dawn. The concerts are free of charge, except for the special trekking project: a limited-entry three-day package during which musicians and participants share the experience of walking together and enjoy intimate, exclusive concerts.

🤗 Some dates are organised to welcome people with physical or sensory disabilities as well. People with hearing impairments can also attend these concerts thanks to a special audio-tactile device worn like a vest, which vibrates in time with the music and makes it possible to perceive sound through touch.
