Autumn Flavors of Canneto Sabino

Canneto Sabino is a small hamlet in the municipality of Fara Sabina. Famous for the excellent quality of its oil and the beauty of its historic olive presses. At the end of autumn, as per tradition, the village is preparing to open its doors to visitors to present its novello oil and the charm of the olive presses and at Europe's largest Olivone. Many typical dishes paired with the fine novello oil will be the great protagonists of the event: ancient bruschetta, padellaccia, local soups and much more all accompanied by the excellent red wine from the local wineries of the Rieti area. The event also features numerous related attractions and many traditional culinary experiences.
