Fieste da Viarte, Friends of Mount Quarin

The Fieste da Viarte is the festival that has been held for more than ten years in Cormòns on the penultimate Sunday in May; it takes place along the Cret Paradis path that leads from Via Dante to the top of Quarin, to the Church of the Beata Vergine del Soccorso and then to the Castle. The term "viarte" in Friulian means opening in particular is meant to welcome spring, but more importantly it represents the typical feature of the festival. In fact, private houses on that day open their courtyards offering visitors typical Friulian food, wine and drinks.
