"Feud in Feast" in Busnago.

The second weekend of June for the town of Busnago is a very important time, as it celebrates "Feudo in Festa," an event that aims to revive and protect the traditions of the village. The festival begins on Friday afternoon with the "turret race," a race in which elementary school children compete by carrying towers - symbolic of the four towers that surrounded the village in medieval centuries. The day ends with a dinner - set up in the courtyards of the four towers - during which jester performances alternate with typical dishes such as "busnaghese." On Saturday there is a market, a procession in historical costumes and various performances. On the last day of the event - Sunday - after a second procession, the "Calcio Storico" competition is held, which is played with an oval ball between two village teams.
