Festival of the Pink Apple of the Sibillini Mountains

The festival promotes the preservation of the Tasty Pink Apple of the Sibillini Mountains, in the hinterland of Macerata, a Slow Food Presidium since 2008. The fruit's name comes from the rose scent of its flowers in spring. The two-day event began in 2004 and over the years has become one of the most eagerly awaited cultural events for villagers. During the event there is a market of apples and typical and organic products, food stands where you can enjoy dishes such as apple ravioli, polenta, apple skewers, barbecued meat, and of course apple desserts.
