International Festival of Theatre in the Square

Santarcangelo dei Teatri organizes the oldest Italian festival dedicated to the arts of the contemporary scene, and one of the most significant European events in the sphere of theater, dance and performing arts. The Santarcangelo Festival builds a temporary community of artists, citizens and spectators who gather around contemporary performing arts and carries on a reflection on the relationship between art and the city, between art and the public dimension, both in the approach to physical spaces and in the trajectories of thematic and artistic research.
